Make Your Upper Kitchen Cabinets Taller For an Easier Access to Everything

Finally, measure the distance from the bottom of the top of the cabinet to the ladder and from the ladder itself to the top of the cabinet. Those numbers should be equal to one to two feet.

Remember, the main thing here is to get these measurements right so that you can make the ladder large enough to reach all the way up to the top of the cabinet. This will increase the height of upper kitchen cabinets considerably.

Keep in mind that you will still need to add some space on the bottom of the cabinet to accommodate the ladder. However, make sure that you have enough space so that you can get in and out of the cabinet without causing any damage to the new opening.
